Θηλυκός κότσυφας - Female Blackbird

Τι κάνει άραγε ο κότσυφας έτσι τεντωμένος πάνω στη σκεπή; Τεντώνει τα φτερά του; Τα μετράει; Τη φωτογραφία την τράβηξα δυο μέρες μετά που είδα στο μπλογκ της Κλαούντιας και του Άντερς από τη Σουηδία μια παρόμοια. Ο φίλος μου ο Frank μου εξήγησε ότι τα κοτσύφια απαλλάσσονται με αυτόν τον τρόπο από διάφορα ενοχλητικά ζωίφια!

What makes the blackbird thus streched on the roof? Streches its wings? Measures them? The photograph is made two days afterwards where I saw in Blog of Claudia and Anders from Sweden one similar. My friend Frank explained to me that Blackbirds are exempted in this way from various annoying small "animals"!

Κότσυφας - Blackbird

Στο Haarlem επισκεφτήκαμε τον φίλο μου Frank. Όπως πολλά σπίτια στην όμορφη αυτή πόλη είχε και τούτο στο πίσω μέρος κήπο. Το παράθυρο λοιπόν του σπιτιού λειτούργησε ως παρατηρητήριο και χώρος για φωτογράφιση.Εδώ ένας αρσενικός κότσυφας ποζάρει χωρίς να το ξέρει.

In Haarlem we visited my friend Frank. As a lot of houses in this beautiful city it has also this, in the back part, garden. The window functioned as observatory and space for shoot some pictures. Here a male blackbird poses without to know that it is going to be shown arround the Internet!!!!

Κύκνος - Swan

Ένας κύκνος κολυμπάει σε ένα από τα πάμπολλα κανάλια στην Ολλανδία , συγκεκριμένα εδώ στο Αλμπλασερνταμ.Μου έκανε εντύπωση πως ο συγκεκριμένος προχωρούσε με ανασηκωμένο το δεξί του πόδι!Το στέγνωνε;

A swan swims in one from the many many canals in Holland, here Alblasserdam.
It is interesting that the swan swam with the right foot raised!
Is there any reason for this strange habit?
Maybe this way the send many greetings to the rest of the world?
But there is also Sweden!!!
