Barnacle goose - ασπρομαγουλόχηνα

Υπάρχουν πολλά σημεία για παρατήρηση πουλιών στο Maastrich. Ένα από αυτά είναι και τα πολλά και όμορφα πάρκα. Χήνες και πάπιες βόσκουν αμέριμνες .Εδώ μια ασπρομαγουλόχηνα.

There are many observation points in Maastricht. One of them,the very beutiffull parks. Geese and ducks are feeding without to feel disturbed. Here a Barnacle goose.

Κιτρινοσκέλης Ασημόγλαρος - Yellow-legged Gull

Ένας κιτρινοσκέλης ασημόγλαρος στέκεται πάνω σε κάβο στον ποταμό Μαας στο Μάστριχτ.

Σταχτοτσικνιάς - Gey Heron

Τον συναντάς παντού στα κανάλια του Haarlem. Δεν τρομάζει εύκολα. Μπορεί να περιμένει με τις ώρες μέχρι να μπορέσει να πιάσει κάποιο ψάρι. Οι σταχτοτσικνιάδες εδώ στις λίμνες μας πετούν πολύ γρήγορα μακριά , μόλις αντιληφθούν κάποιον σε μεγάλη απόσταση.

Υou can meet Grey Herons everywhere in the channels of Haarlem. It does not frighten easily. It can wait for long until it can catch some fish. The Grey Herons here ,in the lakes in Greece , fly very fast far away , as soon as they conceive somebody in big distance!

Η πιο συνηθισμένη κάργα.Την έβλεπες παντού.Αυτή είναι τραβηγμένη δίπλα στο ποτάμι που διαρρέει το Haarlem.

The very common , Jackdaw. This one is taken at the river Marne, Haarlem.

Μαυροκέφαλη πάπια - Tufted Duck

Κοντά στο Haarlem υπάρχει μια λίμνη που λέγεται "Vogelmeer" δηλ. λίμνη των πουλιών.Πραγματικά τη μέρα αυτή παρατηρήσαμε πολλά πουλιά με τον φίλο μου τον Frank.Το καλό είναι πως στη μια άκρη υπάρχει ένα ωραίο παρατήριο . Από εκεί παρατηρήσαμε και φωτογραφίσαμε χωρίς να γίνουμε αντιληπτοί. Στη φωτό μια Μαυροκέφαλη πάπια.

Nearby Haarlem there is a lake named "Vogelmeer", that means the bird lake. Really at that day we could observe many birds with my friend Frank. It was very good that at the one end there was an observatory. So we were able to watch and take photos without to be seen. Here a photo of a Tufted Duck .

Μελανόγλαρος - Lesser Black-backed Gull

Ένας μελανόγλαρος στο Ρότερνταμ κοντά στον ποταμό Ρήνο.

Καλημάνες - Lapwings

Δυο καλημάνες που ξέφυγαν από το κοπάδι κάθησαν στο μέσο του ποταμού Μας στο Maastricht!

Σκουφοβουτηχτάρι - Great Crested Grebe

Δυο ενήλικα σκουφοβουτηχτάρια και τρία νεαρά σερφάρουν στα νερά του ποταμού που ρέει δια μέσω του Haarlem. Μια πανέμορφη σκηνή οικογενειακής ζωής.

Καστανοκέφαλος γλάρος - Black-headed Gull

Κατά τη διάρκεια του ταξιδιού μου συνάντησα πολλούς καστανοκέφαλους γλάρους. Μπορώ να πώ ότι είναι ο πιο συνηθισμένος εδώ. Οι συγκεκριμένοι είναι από το Αλμπλασερνταμ στην πίσω αυλή ενός οικοδομικού συγκροτήματος. Στον ένα ενήλικα φαίνεται χαρακτηριστικά η εναλλαγή του πτερώματος της κεφαλής.

During my travel I met many Black-headed gulls. I can say that it is the most usual here. These are from the Alblasserdam in the back courtyard of a building group. In one of adult appears characteristically the alternation of the head plumage .

Καστανόχηνα - Ruddy Shelduck

Εντύπωση μου κάνει το ελληνικό όνομα.Καστανόχηνα με τέτοια χρώματα! Τη φωτογράφισα στο Maastricht ανάμεσα σε άλλες πάπιες και χήνες.

Θηλυκός κότσυφας - Female Blackbird

Τι κάνει άραγε ο κότσυφας έτσι τεντωμένος πάνω στη σκεπή; Τεντώνει τα φτερά του; Τα μετράει; Τη φωτογραφία την τράβηξα δυο μέρες μετά που είδα στο μπλογκ της Κλαούντιας και του Άντερς από τη Σουηδία μια παρόμοια. Ο φίλος μου ο Frank μου εξήγησε ότι τα κοτσύφια απαλλάσσονται με αυτόν τον τρόπο από διάφορα ενοχλητικά ζωίφια!

What makes the blackbird thus streched on the roof? Streches its wings? Measures them? The photograph is made two days afterwards where I saw in Blog of Claudia and Anders from Sweden one similar. My friend Frank explained to me that Blackbirds are exempted in this way from various annoying small "animals"!

Κότσυφας - Blackbird

Στο Haarlem επισκεφτήκαμε τον φίλο μου Frank. Όπως πολλά σπίτια στην όμορφη αυτή πόλη είχε και τούτο στο πίσω μέρος κήπο. Το παράθυρο λοιπόν του σπιτιού λειτούργησε ως παρατηρητήριο και χώρος για φωτογράφιση.Εδώ ένας αρσενικός κότσυφας ποζάρει χωρίς να το ξέρει.

In Haarlem we visited my friend Frank. As a lot of houses in this beautiful city it has also this, in the back part, garden. The window functioned as observatory and space for shoot some pictures. Here a male blackbird poses without to know that it is going to be shown arround the Internet!!!!

Κύκνος - Swan

Ένας κύκνος κολυμπάει σε ένα από τα πάμπολλα κανάλια στην Ολλανδία , συγκεκριμένα εδώ στο Αλμπλασερνταμ.Μου έκανε εντύπωση πως ο συγκεκριμένος προχωρούσε με ανασηκωμένο το δεξί του πόδι!Το στέγνωνε;

A swan swims in one from the many many canals in Holland, here Alblasserdam.
It is interesting that the swan swam with the right foot raised!
Is there any reason for this strange habit?
Maybe this way the send many greetings to the rest of the world?
But there is also Sweden!!!
